Welcome to Episode 2 of Season 5 of the The PCOS Revolution Podcast:

Nourishing Your PCOS Symptoms with Nutrition

With Special Guest Lisa Johnston, MS, RD, CDE

In today’s episode, we’re going to get to the bottom of how to nourish yourself the right way with Lisa Johnston, MS, RD/LD, CDE.

Lisa is a registered dietitian nutritionist who specializes in PCOS and diabetes and helps women improve their overall quality of life and hormonal health.

She has been practicing since 2007 and owns a private nutrition practice called Nourish Nutrition & Diabetes in Oklahoma City. She can be found online at

After years of seeing women struggle with cycles of overly restrictive eating, overindulgence, and guilt, Lisa’s goal is to help women develop realistic and sustainable nutrition approaches.
Using a whole food approach that promotes hunger control and prevents cravings, women are able to eat food they enjoy and still lose weight and gain control of PCOS.

In this episode, you’ll learn:
-How to create a balanced PCOS-friendly meal that’s kind to your blood sugar
-Lisa’s favorite smoothie tips
-When to incorporate intermittent fasting and for how long
-Why calorie counting could be wreaking your weight loss efforts
