Farrar Duro DOM, FABORM practices reproductive acupuncture and herbal medicine at Florida Complete Wellness in Hialeah Gardens, Florida and became a Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine in 2008. After overcoming her own struggles with PCOS and endometriosis using a combination of Traditional Chinese Medicine and other natural methods, she has felt tremendous joy in sharing her methods with other women and founded The PCOS Revolution Academy™.
She has since specialized in the treatment of PCOS, infertility and hormonal imbalances with acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine for over 20 years and has a passion for women’s health and wellness. This path led her to pursue advanced pregnancy training in the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy™ and publication of her first book, The Smart Couple’s Guide to Getting Pregnant, An Integrated Approach.
A board-certified acupuncture physician, Dr. Duro graduated from the Florida College of Integrative Medicine at the age of 22 and performed her post-graduate training at Shandong University of TCM in Shandong, China. She holds regular Fertility Q&A Instagram Lives with other reproductive specialists and experts to advocate for a better awareness of integrative women’s health between patients, doctors and other complementary healthcare providers. Dr. Marilyn Aracena, OMD is a licensed doctor of oriental medicine with special expertise in the treatment of male and female health, pain management, facial rejuvenation and detoxification. She has worked with Dr. Duro at Florida Complete Wellness for the past decade as both an intern and practitioner. She currently sees patients in our Coral Springs satellite office.Dr. Aracena is passionate about helping her patients on their journey to maximize their goal of ultimate health. Her over ten years of clinical experience using multidisciplinary approaches makes her a diligent and very meticulous healer, who has successfully treated a wide range of conditions.
Dr. Aracena’s background includes a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, along with a Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Bachelor’s degree in Health Science.
She also holds a BS in Human Services and is a Master herbalist, NADA protocol certified, and is certified in Cold Laser therapy.
Carol Espana, licensed massage therapist, is known for her intuitive and soothing techiques that keep our patients coming back for more. Skilled in prenatal massage, deep tissue massage, lymphatic drainage, fertility massage and hot stone techniques, Carol draws on over 20 years of experience in skincare and bodywork knowledge.
A graduate of The Praxis Institute in Miami, FL, Carol also studied advanced massage and skincare techniques in Barcelona, Spain and is a native of Ecuador. She enjoys cooking and spending time with her family when not unwinding the knots of her patients during the week.
